At Dhanalakshmi Jewellers, we value the trust our customers place in us. Every piece of jewellery is carefully inspected and packed before delivery to ensure that you receive your purchase in perfect condition.
Please read the following Cancellation & Return Policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Order Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation of an order before the order has been dispatched or before the jewellery has entered the manufacturing/customisation process.
Once an order has been dispatched, manufactured, customised, engraved, or specially made according to the customer’s requirements, cancellation may not be possible.
To request a cancellation, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your order details.
If the cancellation request is accepted, the eligible refund will be processed through the original payment method, subject to applicable deductions, if any.
2. Returns
We accept returns only for eligible products that meet the conditions mentioned below.
To be eligible for a return:
The jewellery must be unused and in its original condition.
The original invoice must be available.
All original packaging, certificates, tags, and documents must be retained.
The product should not have been altered, resized, repaired, engraved, polished, or customised after delivery.
The product must pass our quality and authenticity inspection.
Any jewellery returned without the required documents, packaging, certificates, or invoice may not be accepted.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Product
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from the product ordered, please notify us immediately after delivery.
We may request photographs or videos of the product and packaging to assess the issue.
After verification, Dhanalakshmi Jewellers may offer an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, repair, exchange, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.
Please retain the original packaging until the issue has been resolved.
4. Exchange Policy
Eligible jewellery may be exchanged subject to our inspection and exchange conditions.
The product must be in its original condition and accompanied by the original invoice, certificates, tags, and packaging.
Any difference in the value of the replacement product will be payable by the customer or refunded/adjusted as applicable.
Exchange eligibility may vary depending on the type of jewellery, purchase value, manufacturing charges, and applicable store policies.
5. Customised and Made-to-Order Jewellery
Jewellery that is specially designed, customised, engraved, resized, or manufactured according to a customer’s specific requirements may not be eligible for cancellation, return, or exchange.
This includes jewellery made using specific designs, measurements, gemstones, names, initials, engravings, or other personalised specifications.
Customers are advised to carefully verify all customisation details before confirming their order.
6. Products That May Not Be Eligible for Return
Returns or exchanges may not be accepted for:
Customised or personalised jewellery.
Made-to-order jewellery.
Engraved products.
Resized or altered jewellery.
Products that have been worn or used.
Products showing signs of damage, scratches, misuse, or alteration.
Products without the original invoice or required certificates.
Products with missing or damaged packaging, tags, or documentation.
Any product specifically identified as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
7. Return Inspection
All returned jewellery is subject to inspection by Dhanalakshmi Jewellers.
The product will be checked for its condition, weight, purity, gemstones, alterations, and other relevant characteristics.
A return or exchange will be approved only after the product successfully passes our inspection.
If the product does not meet the return conditions, it may be sent back to the customer and the return request may be rejected.
8. Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and approved, the applicable refund will be initiated through the original payment method or another method agreed upon by Dhanalakshmi Jewellers.
The time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method and the customer’s bank or payment service provider.
Applicable charges, deductions, taxes, shipping charges, making charges, or other non-refundable components, where applicable, may be deducted from the refund amount.
9. Return Shipping
Where a return is approved, the customer may be required to follow the return shipping instructions provided by Dhanalakshmi Jewellers.
Customers should not send jewellery to us without receiving return instructions from our team.
Dhanalakshmi Jewellers will not be responsible for jewellery lost or damaged during unauthorised return shipping.
10. Jewellery Safety & Packaging
For any approved return, customers must ensure that the jewellery is securely packed using suitable protective packaging.
The product should be returned with all original documents, certificates, tags, boxes, and accessories provided at the time of purchase.
11. Sale and Promotional Products
Products purchased under special offers, clearance sales, promotional schemes, or other discounted campaigns may be subject to separate return or exchange conditions.
The applicable terms will be communicated at the time of purchase.
